Lady Gaga in drag king?
Lady Gaga as a man? Or her male look-alike? Nicola Formichetti, the star's stylist, published on his blog a set of fashion photographs that will be issued on Vogue Hommes Japan, at the beginning of September, with a certain Jo Calderone as a model, captured by the lens of photographer Nick Knight.
However, said Jo Calderone looks disturbingly like Lady Gaga, Nicola Formichetti is fashion director of Vogue Hommes Japan, Perez Hilton is blowing the story out of proportion on twitter (and we know that when it’s about buzzing their friends, notably Gaga, the sky is the limit) talking about his husband, and Gaga’s second name is Joanne (which would shorten to Jo), brought fashion and celebrity sites around the world, taking their lead from fans, to think that Jo Calderone could actually be the singer’s male alter ego.
All the more so as French site GagaVision realized that an exhibition about SHOWstudio, Nick Knight’s fashion website, just opened in London (where the photo session took place at a time when Lady Gaga was in the British capital), and that among the works on display is a Lady Gaga’s autographed and “tested” urinal.
Vogue Hommes Japan's blog asks itself: “when will the truth be revealed?”, before answering its own question: on September 10th. Whatever the truth might be, either Lady Gaga managed to create quite a buzz, or Jo Calderone’s career is launched...

There is no way that Lady GaGa is a man. She is beautiful, her voice is feminine, has a name (Stephanie) and you have to be crazy to think she resembeles this dude at all.

She dressed up like this for the VMA’s this was because of in her video You and I she dresses up as a man (Joe Calderone) so she did it for the VMA’s. It said in the red carpet Lady GaGa will be wearing something interesting for the VMA’s (her Joe Calderone costume)It’s her in a costume. Just because she dresses up as a guy (professionally)doesn’t make her a guy! It was simply for her song. Yes it’s Lady GaGa in a boys costume. Get over it!
