Sarah Shahi and Piper Perabo are back!

18 March 2010

Many lesbians have never gotten over Carmen's departure from The L Word. Sarah Shahi (i.e. Carmen) went to do a stint in the television series Life, and she was just as good there as on The L Word, but we have been waiting for quite some time for to headline her own tv series.

“GIRL POWER"
Shahi has finally gotten her chance. The American channel USA we've recently greenlighted Facing Kate, wherein Shahi will play a disaffected lawyer-turned talking head. 11 episodes have already been given the ok, for a probable summer start. The channel has also approved production on a new show called Covert Affairs, with Piper Perabo, another actress we've followed since Lost, Delirious (2001), and Imagine Me and You d'Ol Parker (2006). Who said playing a lesbian on tv hurts your career?

Catch some nice pics of them on Dorothy Snarker's Dorothy Surrenders.
